Quest for taming a wolf “Get a pet”

In Lineage 2, characters can have different pets: some help in battle, others are used for fast movement. This quest allows you to get a wolf.

Quest walkthrough

• Title: “Get a pet”

• Availability: from character level 10

• Relevance: Interlude – High Five versions

Step 1: Start the Quest

The quest starts in Gludin Village from NPC Pet Manager Martin .
Talk to him and he will give you Animal Slayer's List .

The list depends on the race of your character - depending on this, you will have to hunt different monsters in different locations .

For the human race

You will receive Animal Slayer's 1st List and must go to Human Village on Talking Island, north part .

Here you will have to hunt the following monsters:

• Giant Spider

• Talon Spider

• Dangerous Spider (Blade Spider)

You need to collect 50 Bloody Fangs .

These monsters are level 15-17 and are found in large numbers, but fangs do not drop from every killed mob .

For the Light Elf race

You will receive Animal Slayer's 2nd List and must travel to Elven Village in Elven Forest .

Go a little to the south , where you will find the necessary monsters:

• Crimson Spider

• Hook Spider

• Pincer Spider

You need to knock 50 Bloody Claws out of these monsters .

For the Dark Elf race

You will receive Animal Slayer's 3rd List and must travel to the Dark Elven Village in Swampland .

Here you will have to hunt the following monsters:

• Lesser Dark Horror

• Dark Horror

• Spider Wanderer (Prowler)

You need to knock 50 Bloody Nails out of these monsters .

For the Orc race

You will receive Animal Slayer's 4th List and must head to Orc Village at Frozen Waterfalls .

Go down the map until you find the monsters you need:

• Kasha Spider

• Kasha Fang Spider

• Dangerous Kasha Blade Spider

You need to drop 50 Bloody Kasha Fangs from these monsters .

For the Dwarf race

You will receive Animal Slayer's 4th List and must travel to Dwarven Village on the Northeastern Coast, Abandoned Mine .

Hunt the following monsters:

• Hunter Tarantula

• Tarantula Predator (Plunder Tarantula)

You need to drop 50 Bloody Tarantula Nails from these monsters .

For the Kamael race

You will receive the Animal Slayer's List and must travel to Kamael Village to Nornils Cave .

Here you will have to hunt the Crimson Spider .

These monsters need to drop 50 Bloody Red Claws .

Step 2: Obtaining important information

Once you have the required number of items, return to Gludin Village and talk to Martin . He will ask you to talk to three characters to get important information. Be sure to read carefully what they tell you:

1. Travel to Town of Gludio and talk to Gatekeeper Bella .

2. Head to the Town of Dion , run to the south gate and find Guard Metty .

3. Head to Town of Giran and talk to Trader Ellie , who is located in the Jewelry Store .

Step 3: Martin's Exam

After you've talked to all three characters, return to Martin and take the exam . You'll need to answer a few questions. You got the answers from the previous NPCs.

• If you answer correctly , you will receive a Wolf Collar .

• If you answer incorrectly , Martin will send you back to talk to three characters to get the information you need.

Step 4: Shopping at Martin's

After receiving the wolf, do not forget to buy him food and equipment directly from Martin .
